Image 1	One model
Description of image	My first image will consist of the actor looking directly into the camera with a stern look, I would say that this goes with the current codes & conventions of Hip-Hop magazines.
Connotations/ Signifiers	This would portray the actor to be very a very serious character. The look into the lens of the camera this gives the audience a sense of   This would create a dominating figure and a less dominant figure. This would be to create a clear distinction of whom is more powerful this would allow my viewers to see which the main character is. Both actors would be up straight to present pride and to represent themselves well. Both actors will be looking into the camera and would give the illusion that they are looking directly at my audience. This would add a personal element to the magazine and would promote consumption.

Description of image	Would consist of Kai looking directly into the camera from close rage
Connotations/ Signifiers	This would create a sense of mystery around my actor as he will be looking directly into the camera and wearing sunglasses at the same time, this would make him mysterious and therefore would interest the reader. Kai would also have a blank expression that would create an attitude that my model may be stereotypically labelled with

Description of image	Would consist of Michael doing a pose that would be associated with rap music
Connotations/ Signifiers	My model will be striking a stereotypical pose that would be under the codes and conventions of an existing magazine of the same genre. There would be a straight back pose being used and my actor will be l0ooking over the glasses and into the camera to make it seem he is looking at the consumer.

He will strike a pose in which he has his hands in his pockets. This will show a low effort mentality and one in which he does not care. He will also not be smiling to create a serious representation of himself to look focused.

Connotations/ Signifiers	This would only show the entire of Kai’s face and nothing else, I will add sunglasses because this wold stay with the current codes and conventions and would also be an added prop that would suit my magazine theme. I will make Kai have no facial expression this way it would show an intimating side.

Description of image	A picture of David that would show him striking a pose.
Connotations/ Signifiers	This picture of David will show that the pose I have assigned him will be very thought out, I have decided to make David strike a pose where he would be flexing his arm muscles. While looking slightly up on the camera. This would give the indication that the consumer would be more dominant as he is looking up at the camera eye.

Connotations/ Signifiers	Having his hands folded and looking directly into the camera. This would make Kai look more intimidating. He will also be wearing sunglasses so the current codes and conventions will be apparent. He will be on the left hand side of the shot and therefore the text on the other side on the spread will be easily readable.

Connotations/ Signifiers	Badar will be pointing towards Michael to show consumers who the main character is, badar will act as the main person friend and would be more on the side. Michael will be wearing more bright clothing to stand out more. Badar will have his hand around Michaels  shoulder to show a strong relationship.
